🎬 Plot Overview
Bhakshak is inspired by the real-life Muzaffarpur shelter home case, where young girls were subjected to abuse and exploitation. The story follows Vaishali Singh (played by Bhumi Pednekar), a determined journalist who uncovers the dark secrets of a shelter home in Munawwarpur, Bihar. As she delves deeper into the case, Vaishali faces numerous challenges, including threats to her safety and attempts to discredit her findings. With the support of a courageous girl named Sudha and a dedicated police officer, SS Jasmeet Kaur (Sai Tamhankar), Vaishali strives to expose the truth and bring the perpetrators to justice.
