🎬 Plot Summary
The story follows Zooni Ali Beg (Kajol), a blind Kashmiri woman who travels to Delhi with her friends to perform at a Republic Day celebration. There, she meets Rehan Qadri (Aamir Khan), a flirtatious tour guide. Despite her friends' warnings, Zooni falls in love with Rehan. After undergoing surgery to restore her eyesight, she is informed that Rehan has died in a terrorist bombing.
However, Rehan is revealed to be alive and a leader of a terrorist group. He returns to Zooni's life, leading to a complex relationship as she grapples with his secret past. The film explores themes of love, betrayal, and sacrifice.
