Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened (2013) is the 16th animated film in the Pokémon franchise and the third and final installment of the Black & White series. 🧬 Plot Summary
The story unfolds in Pokémon Hills, a nature park surrounded by a bustling city. Ash Ketchum, Pikachu, Iris, and Cilan discover a lone Genesect—a Pokémon revived from ancient fossils by humans. When a red Genesect attacks, Mewtwo intervenes, saving the group. The Genesect, led by the red one, establish a nest in the park, threatening the city's power supply. Mewtwo, created through human experimentation like the Genesect, attempts to mediate, but the red Genesect remains hostile, leading to a high-speed battle across the city.
As the conflict escalates, Ash and his friends, along with the wild Pokémon of the park, work together to prevent destruction. In the end, the red Genesect realizes the potential for peaceful coexistence, and the Genesect relocate to Absentia National Park, where their natural habitat still exists.
