1. Major Industrial Announcements
In a move that will generate thousands of local jobs, the CM announced two mega-industrial hubs:
New Sugar Mill: Reviving the industrial heritage of the region.
Textile Park: Positioning Balangir as a hub for garment manufacturing and handloom export.

A significant portion of the foundation-laying ceremony was dedicated to the Nursing College at the Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital.
3. Rural Governance & Housing
Panchayati Raj Samikshya Portal: Launched to ensure 100% transparency in how village funds are used.
Antyodaya Gruha Yojana: Work orders distributed to over 50,000 beneficiaries.
Piped Water Mission: The CM reiterated the goal to provide piped water to every household by March 2027 with a state-wide investment of ₹54,000 crore.
